Wyrd. (as in sacred word)
(and yet, few words, here, as of late. Haven’t been Web Often-ing a lot (at least here on wordPress)), but did end 3+ years of girl-cotting fb. Also tweets have happened…
May start wyrd (press?) Goddess/heathen/pagan blog, maybe year of daily Goddess devotions? (though that ‘twould be easier on tumblr, as my phone can usually access that even if in non-Web hinterlands….); might start that on Autumn Eqx/Hallows, or maybe month long of devotions, like soon, like starting now: #Hail Freya! -who loves the gold bling…Anyway, #wyrd. Goddess Seals of ancient Crete, from Max Dashu’s Suppressed Histories online gallery:
Goddess with poppies seated under fruiting tree and surrounded by votaries offering crocuses. Two serpents float past the sun and moon in the sky, beside a “Shield Goddess.” A double axe takes center position, and benearth it is a small female figure with a crocus who appears to be standing on the mountain symbol, like a goddess in other seal art. Speaking of which, I’m thinking I may create another, more focused, sacred blog, stay tuned?
Meanwhile, back on the web, #learntocode -ing: have been doing some @codedemy, in support of my @freecodecamp training, and also doing a few projects on my own. Plus had 40th, FINAL #michfest -ivities, so offline (therefore, web NOT often (nor actually @ all) was only possibility).
Anyway, back again. Image revisit… midway during green sheep year:
#webOften (could also be #webOfTen….)
